After resting up and cutting through that stupid line outside, which, tagent real quick – is incredibly poorly managed and shame on those of you who allow yourselves to be herded around the convention center twice when the entrance is plain as daylight and in no way imposing to enter “when you shouldn’t”, don’t let the shepherds lead you astray, fight for your right to use a sidewalk as its intended, walk around that convention center once at most.

A nor’easter was moving through the area during the first two days of comic con, but it never really brought much rain, thankfully.
Anyway, I made my way to the show floor and wandered for about two hours before I knew I had to make my way over to the room where the IGN podcast Beyond! would be recorded. I stuck to my tactic of yelling at people and asking for a picture. Oddly enough, no one has said no, which is awesome.

I was really surprised to find someone cosplaying Jinx, a Leauge of Legends character that was released on Thursday. The guy on the right is Yorrick, one of the most annoying top lane champions in LoL.
ROBOtech was the first panel and the line was incredibly short. I did my best to be enthused about the program, a 1980s anime that’s still going today. The newest material they’re shooting uses 3d imaging with filters to shorten the animation time and I have to say, the new stuff, it looks amazing.
The second panel I was vaguely familiar with as I basically will listen to anything in podcast form as long as its in the top 20. Welcome to Night Vale is a dramedy, in my opinion. It follows the lives of… or should I say, it speaks about the lives of members of a town and all the weird, alien goings on. Had I ever interacted with that podcasts fans? Nope. They are an enthusiastic bunch however! Never would have guessed ;). I did manage to find this under-visited subreddit, /r/nightvale. reddit is a link sharing website where you can also make standard forum posts.
Podcast Beyond! finally came in, Greg Miller @gameovergreggy, Marty Sliva @McBiggitty (filling in for Colin), and guest panelist Veronica Belmont @Veronica. The topic was light and funny, focusing on why the playstation 4 won’t suck and how sony won’t screw this up (again). Being an xbox fan, I had to make an effort to remember all the hardships that playstation owners have faced, with accounts being hacked, network issues, the store just never living up to expectations. I won’t go into more detail, the podcast is available here [insert here once ign uploads it].
