Monday, May 18th, 2009 from 3pm to 5pm in the Quad (between Chestnut and Market Streets and 32nd and 33rd Streets).

Four prominent Philadelphia Italian restaurants ‐ Ralph’s Italian Restaurant, Dante & Luigi’s, Cucina Forte, and La Scala ‐ will be competing to see who makes the best marinara sauce in Philadelphia. The Drexel community is invited to come to the Quad and taste the four sauces with pasta, then vote for their favorite. A panel of eight judges will also be present, including former Philadelphia Flyers captain Keith Primeau. In addition, Lorraine Ranalli, Philadelphia radio and TV personality, will be signing copies of her book “Gravy Wars: South Philly Foods, Feuds, & Attytudes” during the event. Carnival, BBQ, Beer Garden and Soccer Tournament for the entire Drexel Community and their Families
On Sunday, May 31sr from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. the Graduate Student Association (GSA), the Undergraduate Student Organization (USGA) and the Campus Activities Board (CAB) will be hosting Drexel’s first DragonFest. This event will commemorate the Vision and Contributions that Dr. Papadakis made to Drexel University. We hope that you will join us at this festive event! The Schedule of Events and Locations are below:
