I’m a practical person, so before I went and bought some wood to build a base, I drew out some plans. Yes, there are lumber optimizing tools that you can from the internet for this, but since I only ended up needing 4 pieces of wood (I left out the two 25.5ish diagonal supports), I didn’t have very much trouble figuring it out myself. I also have a Subaru BRZ and had to choose my wood wisely to fit in my car, so as to not have to get my SUV running (which as of 9/9/14, I have not completed).
