The iSchool at Drexel, the College of Information Science and Technology, will host “Professions in User Experience and User‐Centered Design” on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in Rush Building room 014 (30 N. 33rd Street).
Guest speaker Jack Bellis is an information designer in the User‐Centered Design department of Elsevier, the world’s largest publisher of scientific and medical information. He has had
many roles and accomplishments in his software career, including having his own product, installing point‐of‐sale systems and technical writing, but they all seem to have been zeroing in on software design, making software as friendly and useful as possible. His work at Elsevier has led him to design medical information websites, mobile software and an iPhone app.
This event is open to the Drexel community, and FREE pizza and refreshments will be served! For more information or to RSVP, contact Jennifer Lally at JL352@drexel.edu.
