SLF Meeting

Student Liberty Front Weekly Meeting

The Student Liberty Front will host a panel discussion with Samantha Harris and Adam Kissel from the Foundation of Individual Rights in Education (F.I.R.E.) tonight, September 30, 2009 at 6 p.m. in Hill Conference Room, LeBow Engineering Center (31st and Market Streets).

Topics covered in the discussion will include campus speech codes and thought reform on college campuses. A brief general meeting to discuss G-20 events will be held after the panel. Free pizza will be served.

For more information on the event or Student Liberty Front, email StudentLibertyFront@gmail.com.

Pros: free pizza
Cons: you’re going to have to listen to crazy people talk about things that may or may not be ridiculous and/or infuriatingly incorrect, as is often the case in politics.

Johnson and Johnson Info Session

Johnson & Johnson Information Session

Representatives from Johnson & Johnson will hold an information session on Thursday, October 1, 2009 from 6 to 9 p.m. in the Faculty Club Dining Room on the sixth floor of MacAlister Hall (33rd and Chestnut Streets).

Students are invited to enjoy refreshments, win prizes, learn about Johnson & Johnson and network with students and company representatives, including chief financial officer Dominic Caruso, a 1980 LeBow College of Business graduate.

For more information, contact the Steinbright Career Development Center at scdc@drexel.edu or call 215-895-2185.

I wouldn’t recommend going to this unless you’re interested in a co-op or permanent position there, but as many of us are seniors and engineering types this was relevant anyway.
