is a gathering where all types of people come to share their experiences with LGBTQ issues—
serious, emotional, and humorous too. It doesn’t matter if you’re gay or straight, have a story to tell
or just want to listen, this event is for everyone.

Star of the NBC hit TV show Heroes and legendary Mr. Sulu from Star Trek, George Takei is a married, openly homosexual Asian‐American actor who appeared in more than 40 feature films and hundreds of television guest‐starring roles. Refreshments will be served after the event and Mr. Takei will be available to speak with students and/or autograph items.
