This and the 2 pictures around it really go hand in hand. You have to screw these washers into the bolt that is on the inside-rear of the shower. I didn’t have a second person around at this point so I had to improvise. A tiny driver set to something like 6 on the torque limit did a great job to not damage or strip anything.
