Campus Crusade for Christ Hosts Alpha Course
Campus Crusade for Christ will host the Alpha Course tonight, February 18, 2010 at 6:30 pm. in Ross Commons room 316 (34th Street and Powelton Avenue). The evening will include a free dinner, followed by a short talk and discussion on the topic “Why did Jesus have to die?”. Personally, I think these people get a negative rap for no reason, you should give them a try if you’re up for new experiences and want to explore how people celebrate religion.  They’re open to basically everyone, so don’t feel alarmed if you don’t fit their “mold” because I’m sure they’ll tell you there isn’t one.  Also, they gave me one of the better books I’ve ever read – Blue Like Jazz
