“History of the Black Power Movement” Speaker Series with Bobby Seale
Africana Studies presents the “History of the Black Power Movement” Speaker Series with Bobby Seale, co-founder of the Black Panther Party, on Thursday, February 25, 2010 in Mitchell Auditorium, Edmund D. Bossone Research Enterprise Center (Market Street between 31st and 32nd Streets). A reception for the Drexel community will be held at 6 p.m., followed by the lecture at 6:30 p.m. A book signing will follow the lecture.
This event is co-sponsored by the College of Arts and Sciences and the Intercultural Engagement & Diversity Initiative Speaker Series. Additional sponsors for the History of the Black Power Movement Speaker Series include the Department of English and Philosophy, the University Writing Program and Certificate in Writing and Publishing, the Department Of Culture and Communication and the Office of Multicultural Programs.
